Need to find a place in Greenville South Carolina with a garage for my M3, it would be nice if this place also had a place for me to live. If I’m successful early enough, I might get some unnecessary car shopping in.

No joke, I looked at one apartment when I was apartment shopping last time. It had an attached garage and all the amenities I wanted in my price range. I then did car shopping for 2 days.

My fiancée and decided we’re moving to the south when it comes time to upgrade our current house because they just don’t build what we want in the northeast. It’s imposible here to find anything with a half acre lot that isn’t 1) a shack or 2) a $1M mansion. Add a three car garage to the list? Forget it.

If you’re planning on settling down for the long run with your job and your life (maybe finding the woman you desire), then try to look for a place in a good school district. Zillow has this on their website; from my observations, if every school is an 8 or better, you’re set. Schools that are “ghetto” near me are still 5's and 6's on their tally.

I’m just getting an apartment for now, if I stay here for the long run, I’ll get a house in a good district. I also don’t want to buy a house in an area I’m unfamiliar with.

Don’t throw the midwest north in with the expensive northeast. My wife and I bought an 1700 sq ft house on 1.3 acres with a 20x30 2 car attached garage and a 30x30 detached garage for less than 250k
The winter thing is still an issue though

I second this...I literally looked up warehouses or auto shops for sale around me when I was house shopping (not that my wife wouldn’t have laughed herself to death had I even mentioned it)
